The Hintertux Glacier Ski Resort in Brief:

• Number of Pistes: Around 24 downhill skiing pistes - 8 Blue, 15 Red (which includes 4 freeride ski routes), and 2 Black.
• Kilometres of Ski Pistes: 60 km, including the 8 km of ski touring routes.
• Longest Piste: In Winter, top to bottom is a thigh-screaming 12 km.
• Skiable Area: 233 hectares.
• Number of Ski Lifts: 21, which includes the 2 gondolas from the valley.
• Highest Altitude: 3,250 m, just below the summit of Grosser Kaserer.
• Vertical Drop: The main skiing goes down to 2,100 m, a drop of 1,150 m.
• Ski Resort Altitude: 1,500 m, which can be skied to in the Winter.
• Number of Snow Cannon: It’s a glacier! It has snow and skiing 365 days a year, but 65% of the pistes are still covered with snow cannon.
• Glacier Skiing: That’s what it is all about!
• Snow Parks: For boarders and freeskiers there is Betterpark and, for the rest of us, the Familypark.
